The most frequent phone call I get is from customers looking for used forklifts. The truth is: the used market is much too busy to be a reliable source of good equipment right now. Long lead times on the new equipment side combined with limited parts/service availability have made things very difficult for many operations managers. Many are relying on short-term decisions like rentals or older used trucks because they waited too long to replace their aging fleet. Combine this with the heavy turnover in many warehouse and operations management positions and you get a pretty bleak picture.
